Really clean and colorful.

I'm wondering what brush you are using for your lines. It seems like a ton of the art I like possibly uses the same brush.

Thank you :) . Its much easier to do so then to approach the whole painting at once. This way you will focus on values first, get it right then move on to coloring which will be a fun process afterward.

My only guess is that you want your pose to have a strong silhouette.

well i talked to him on how to counter stiffness and boost the interest of the piece. i'd have to type a massive essay to even start

Looks like the armor is heavily inspired by Metroid, Mass Effect and Halo.

I played metroid for years so I kinda memorised the full armour, i tried to make some similar gear but without actually coping anything and in fact if you compare the two you will see they look alike but there is nothing in common. I hate make an armour that people would actually want to wear and this seemed appropriate, every piece just had a function

Some play on the word Wyvern. (or basilisk,hydra)

The only reason I can see why it doesn't have the same pop is mainly because with your Vash the colors were more complementary. Also the color choice here isn't as vibrant.
